The first time I saw horses roaming along the beach I was speechless. They were out for a stroll and enjoyed the spray of the salty water in the heat of the day.
The horses roam the beach while visitors watch from a distance. Keeping a safe distance means moving out of their way at times. Horsing around has a different meaning when they are running close by you.
